Walking The Artist's Way Together: A 12-Week Series
Mondays June 8 - August 24
7-8:30pm
$600 for full series

Whether or not you think of yourself as an artist, Julia Cameron’s seminal book, The Artist’s Way, lays a path to bring to light the creativity that lives inside you.

This group process lets you co-burden the joy, frustration, celebration, shame, laughter, sadness and silliness that can be unearthed along this journey.

Expect to challenge perfectionism, deepen connection to self, and get comfortable with vulnerability.

Attendees will experience:

  • Weekly creative activities to unblock

  • Accountability check-ins

  • Process space for friction points in each chapter

  • Guided discussion to deepen reflection on key points

  • Facilitated sharing of current projects (weeks 6-12)

  • Coordinated outings for “artist dates”

Facilitated with care by Emily Shefer, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Joining her passion for expression and connection, Emily facilitates this group as a creativity cheerleader. While this is not a therapy group, Emily will bring her emotional expertise to ensure attendees feel secure, supported, and resourced along this journey.

Hosted by The Magnolia Art Space

Attendees will get to immerse themselves in artistic expression as they meet weekly in Magnolia Art Space, a fine art gallery, and bear witness to the creativity on display. As a gallery and community space, Magnolia exemplifies the power of art to bring people together.
