While many wonder about the meaning of life, for me the meaning is clear: connection. Connecting with clients and witnessing their growth is one of the great honors of my life. I build trusting relationships through my warmth, openness, humor, love of pop-culture, and deep well of compassion. I’m excited to meet all sides of the people I work with, from the darkest to the silliest.

I completed a Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology from Mount Saint Mary's University. During my graduate program, I participated in a traineeship at the Maple Counseling Center, where I was trained in psychodynamic therapy. After graduating, I honed my therapeutic skillset through my work with adults in private practice and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). I learned to swim in the depths while working with teens and their families in IOP as they navigated their way out of crisis and into healing.

In the fall of 2022 I took the Externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and have fallen head over heels for the model. I have since participated in Core Skills training, specialized workshops, and ongoing EFT supervision to sharpen my skills and ensure that relationships are receiving the best possible care.

All of my training and experience has helped me to cultivate a culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, neurodiversity affirming, and non-pathologizing stance.

When I’m not in the therapy office, I balance my time connecting with loved ones through shared experiences and laughter, connecting with myself through fitness and creativity, and connecting with nature through wonderment. Usually spotted with a coffee, my stack of woo-woo girlie bracelets clinking, and headphones blaring music on full blast.
